Two children were reported missing Tuesday after their mother allegedly abducted them from their grandmother’s home in Exposition Park, authorities said.

The children were taken from the 1700 block of West 35th Place around 3 p.m. Monday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The children were in foster care with their grandmother, their legal caregiver. The mother, 37-year-old Ameenah Rasheedah Freeman, suffers from a mental condition and is living in her vehicle, police said.

The children were last seen in Northridge in a maroon 2011 Ford Edge with paper plates that say “Airport Marina,” police said.

Freeman is possibly taking the children to Phoenix, where their father may be living, according to the LAPD.

Adoniah Freeman, 9, is also black with brown eyes and black hair. She is 4 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 97 pounds, according to police. She was last seen wearing a pink dress with white flowers.

Freeman was described by police as black, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 160 pounds, with brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black dress and black sandals.

Both children have asthma and require an inhaler, police said. It is unclear if they have the medication with them.
