A cloudy coastline
Earlier this month, Laury Sahakangas was hanging out with a fellow photographer when they decided on a “last minute whim” to shoot the cloud formations on the Palos Verdes coastline.
Sahakangas says that during sunset, the clouds are particularly beautiful and massive. “I hiked down to the beach area and noticed this woman standing on the rock, taking in the magnificent views,” she said. “I wanted to capture that moment.”
The image was made with an iPhone 6 Plus.
