Reader Photo: Cormorants dive into Lake Balboa

During a visit to Lake Balboa in the San Fernando Valley in early November, Nora Feddal spotted a group of cormorants lined up along the lake’s edge. She snapped a photo just as they began diving into the water, one after the other.
