New images and friendships alike
Last fall, Vanessa Mendez and her husband attended their first Instameet, hosted by the popular Instagram community JJ West Coast.
The couple brought a picture frame and a few other props. At one point, Mendez spotted a woman sitting on a rock along the edge of the ocean. She “scattered to get the frame” and luckily had enough time to snap the photograph.
“Our group was able to capture many beautiful moments that day,” she said. “Along with building new friendships.”
