This one rose

“I saw this rose and it looked fake, almost as if it was made out of porcelain,” Emily Guardado said of the flower sitting in her parent’s dining room. “I thought its folds and color were so unique that I had to capture it all in a photo.”

The photographer says that though she loves taking pictures of nature, she’s not “the biggest fan of roses” because, in her opinion, they aren’t as unique or pretty as other flowers.

“This one rose, I think, proves me wrong,” Guardado said.

The image was taken with an iPhone 6 and processed with the VSCO application.
