Funding Brown’s pet projects
Gov. Jerry Brown has raised more than $6 million in recent weeks to campaign for Proposition 1, a water bond measure, and Proposition 2, a state rainy-day fund. Most of the money has come from a handful of interests:
Agriculture: $1,015,000
Construction groups*: $796,250
Healthcare: $500,000
Labor: $1,525,000
Wealthy individuals: $2,380,000
