3 dead, 1 missing after northeast Ohio house explosion

NORTHFIELD CENTER, Ohio — Three people are dead and a child remains unaccounted for after a house explosion in northeast Ohio.
The explosion happened Monday night in Northfield Center Township in Summit County.
Fire Chief Frank Risko says the bodies of a man, a woman and a young girl were found on the first floor of the home. The family’s other daughter is still missing. Authorities have not identified the victims.
Neighbors reported hearing the blast around 8:30 p.m. It shook nearby homes.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene and saw flames shooting from the home.
The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.
