Biden chooses Kamala Harris as his running mate
The drawn-out veepstakes process held positives for California Sen. Kamala Harris, including regaining the national spotlight after a wobbly presidential run.

California Sen. Kamala Harris regained the national spotlight after a wobbly presidential run last year and rehabilitated her standing among voters in her home state, positioning herself for a prime appointment in a potential Biden administration.
