John Corbett lies about ‘Sex’

John Corbett lied to us. Flat out look-you-in-the-eye lied. Not just once. Many times.

He’s been insisting that he’s NOT in SATC 2, explaining that photos of him taken in Morocco were actually old ones taken in Istanbul six years ago.

Got that? Not only did he lie but he made up a cover, an alibi.

But this week on “Ellen” he fessed up that he IS in the movie, reprising his role as Aiden Shaw, Carrie’s former live-in boyfriend.

“I just found out I’m going to be in the trailer so I get to break the news on your show that Aiden gets to come back to ‘Sex and The City,’” he says.

About having to lie, he explained, “These rumors started about seven months ago because somebody took a picture of me in Morocco and I felt really bad because for the last six months every time somebody said, ‘Are you in this movie?’ I had to lie about it.”
