Police Files for July 16
Katella Street: A caller reported that a drone landed in her backyard in the 800 block at 11:27 a.m. Monday.
Laguna Canyon Road: Vehicle burglary was reported in the 20200 block at 12:06 p.m. Monday. A caller reported that a purse was stolen from a Nissan Rogue whose passenger window was smashed.
Treetop Lane: A caller reported fireworks being thrown at cars from a moving Mercedes SUV in the 21500 block at 10:16 p.m. Monday.
Brooks Street: Petty theft was reported in the 31300 block at 7:01 a.m. Sunday. Items were reported stolen from a Land Rover and Toyota Tundra.
Poplar Street: Petty theft was reported in the 400 block at 8:30 a.m. Sunday. Two mountain bikes were reported stolen.
Forest Avenue: Burglary was reported in the 200 block at 11:16 a.m. Sunday. A caller said a shed was broken into and items stolen at the Little Bohemian clothing store.
Bay Drive: A caller reported smoking and drinking by a group of people at Three Arch Bay South beach at 2:34 p.m. Sunday.
Ocean Way: A suspicious person was reported in the 1800 block at 3:01 p.m. Sunday. A caller said a man stalked a female lifeguard and took pictures of her.
Forest Avenue: Drinking in public was reported in the 200 block at 4:02 p.m. Sunday. A caller said four men were drinking beer in a breezeway between stores.
Coast Highway: Nine people were reportedly drinking and smoking at Totuava Beach at 6:10 p.m. Sunday.
Cliff Drive: Vandalism was reported in the 300 block at 10:18 a.m. Saturday. City employees found graffiti painted on several trash cans.
Monterey Drive: A 1962 Mercedes convertible was reported stolen from a garage in the 31100 block at 3:21 p.m. Saturday.
