Update: For seven straight years the Sparks have been able to boast a .500 record for their first road trips each season. They have two games left on this four-game trip -- against Indiana tonight and against Phoenix next week -- and have to win both if they want that record intact. In its two losses, L.A. averaged 17 turnovers. On Wednesday against Minnesota, point guard Kristi Harrower was the only Sparks player to shoot above 50% on five-for-six shooting from the field. Indiana, meanwhile, is off to its worst start since 2001. In its win over Seattle on Wednesday, the Fever lost All-Star and Olympian forward Yolanda Griffith to a season-ending tear to her left Achilles. On Thursday, Indiana signed forward Jessica Moore, who was waived by the Sparks at the end of training camp.
