Clippers, Lakers live: Join our discussion on the upcoming season

Join us today at 11:30 a.m. when Times Lakers writer Mike Bresnahan and Clippers writer Brad Turner will discuss the Lakers and Clippers in a live Google+ Hangout.

Among the topics that could be covered:

The Lakers are raring to go this season, with the addition of Dwight Howard and Steve Nash. Plus, they will have a new offense. As Lakers Coach Mike Brown told Bresnahan earlier this week, when asked about who the focal point of the offense will be:

"All these guys are good guys and I truly believe they all want to win a championship," Brown said. "If they do, they'll figure out ways to sacrifice a little bit but not giving up their aggressive styles."

What's the name of the offense, which was devised by Brown and assistant Eddie Jordan?

"At the end of the year, if we're in the top five offensively, we'll call it Brown's offense," Brown said. "If we're in the bottom five, we'll call it Jordan's offense."

Meanwhile, as Turner wrote last week,

"The Clippers' playoff run last spring and their busy off-season of stockpiling talent simply increased the pressure on them to be successful this season."

If you have a question for Mike or Brad, send an email to sportshangout@latimes.com and we will try to answer it on the air.
