Tweet of the Day: “Kobe (8 for 26) said he was ‘definitely’ fatigued: ‘I should have stayed in bed like I’ve been doing instead of coming to shoot-around.’ ” -- Mike_Bresnahan (L.A. Times Lakers beat writer Mike Bresnahan)

Rick Friedman Reader Comment of the Day: “Kobe is really an intelligent guy and he has shown in the past he can adjust if he is having a bad shooting night, like 7th game against Boston. Why not feed Bynum/Pau more and often? I don’t care if Bynum has 50 as long as we’re winning. Very few teams can defend against our twin tower tandem and they seems to be playing good one with each other, so I just simply don’t understand Kobe hoisting so many shots when Detroit cannot contain Bynum at all and he was having a field day. Mind boggling…” -- LAL_Fan
