USC basketball: Nikola Jovanovic chosen to Pac-12 team for China tour

USC sophomore Nikola Jovanovic will play for a Pac-12 Conference all-star men’s basketball team that will tour China this summer, the school announced.

The 10-day tour, which begins Aug. 10, includes four games and is part of the Pac-12’s globalization initiative.

Jovanovic, a 6-foot-10 forward from Serbia, averaged eight points and four rebounds for the Trojans last season.

“I am really honored to represent USC and the Pac-12 in the tournament, and I will give my best to help the team win every game,” Jovanovic said in a statement.

Larry Krystkowiak of Utah will coach the team.

Other players on the roster: forward Jordan Loveridge, guard Brandon Taylor and center Jeremy Olsen of Utah; guard Malcolm Duvivier and center Cheikh N’diaye of Oregon State; wing Bo Barnes of Arizona State; guard Jacob Hazzard of Arizona; guard Andrew Andrews of Washington; guard DaVonte’ Lacy of Washington State; center Schuyler Rimmer of Stanford; forward Xavier Johnson of Colorado; and forward Roger Moute a Bidias of California.
