USC’s JuJu Smith-Schuster decided he’d heard enough from a Utah defender.

In the third quarter, the sophomore receiver caught a 15-yard pass from Cody Kessler, turned downfield and taunted cornerback Dominique Hatfield to come closer, then stiff-armed him out of bounds.

“Number 15, probably the most kid that talked so much trash in one game, in probably one series,” Smith-Schuster said after the game. “I’m not even about that and it just got to the point where like OK, I’m about to embarrass you.”

The USC sideline went wild and the play instantly became a viral sensation on social media.

“I saw him and I was like OK I am just going to give the stiff-arm and throw you out of bounds, I had said to my teammates, and it turned out,” Smith-Schuster said.

Smith-Schuster caught eight passes for 143 yards and a touchdown in USC’s 42-24 victory over third-ranked Utah.
