A fall fare sale for an LAX-London round trip on Air New Zealand for $544

The royal wedding Saturday of Britain's Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is consuming London, but the hysteria undoubtedly will have abated by Oct. 1-Dec. 13, the dates for which the $544 fare is available.

Here’s a sure sign that the spring shoulder season is almost over: Fares to reader-favorite London have been creeping ever upward.

Now comes news of a $544 round trip, including all taxes and fees, from LAX to London’s Heathrow on Air New Zealand.

If you can go in the fall, you’ll save almost 40%.

But you must act quickly. You must purchase the fare, which is subject to availability, by May 31.

It is for travel Oct. 1-Dec. 13.
