GETTING THERE:

From Washington, D.C., American Celebration on Parade is 100 miles west. The quickest route is Interstate 66 west to Interstate 81 south to Exit 269 at Shenandoah Caverns. A more scenic alternative to I-81 is U.S. 11, which parallels the truck-clogged interstate. A mostly two-lane road, U.S. 11 meanders through lovely pastoral countryside.
