Your Scene: Terrace seating
Dusty Loffarelli of Studio City captured this shot during a three-week trip to the Philippines. He was on a hike near Banaue, along the stone walls of a rice terrace, when he slipped into the paddy. The grandson of this Ifugao rice picker pulled him from the muck. “Perhaps that explains the curious stare in the photo,” Loffarelli says. He used a Nikon Coolpix 5000 on digital automatic to take this picture of the rice picker on break.
