Your Scene: Long-term parking in Bolivia

Share

Kenn Lee was in Chile this summer to visit San Pedro de Atacama. The Lake Balboa resident also hoped to cross into Bolivia to see the Salar de Uyuni, the world’s largest salt flat.

Snow, tour operator issues and immigration officials thwarted that plan, and Lee’s Bolivia excursion was trimmed to about 15 minutes. But before he was turned back at the border, he happened upon this abandoned bus.

“It looked strange, colorful, so full of texture,” Lee said. He used a Nikon D90.
