Gear: USB humidifier provides some mist opportunities

If you need extra moisture when you’re traveling, it can be as close as your water bottle and a USB connection.
With the Satechi USB Portable Humidifier a 2.4-inch-diameter device rests over the top of a water bottle, replacing the cap. It can be screwed onto the top of compatible bottles (not included, so you’ll have to experiment). A removable wick-like filter extends down into the water.
Plug the included micro-USB cable into your computer or other USB port, and the wick draws the water through the filter, converting it into vapor. Substitute liquid fragrances or essential oils for the water, and you get an aroma diffuser.
The dim blue glow indicating the humidifier is working makes for a soft night light. The humidifier automatically shuts off after eight hours.
Be sure to point it away from the electronic device that’s powering it.
It comes with two filters, which should be changed every few months.
Extra filters are available. Satechi USB Portable Humidifier costs $29.99; extra filters cost about $2 each.
