Jared Vagy will share his experiences in South America climbing glaciated mountains, technical rock walls, remote icy peaks and an attempt at Aconcagua, Argentina, the highest mountain in the world outside the Himalayas.

Participants will take brief walks and be introduced to the ecological, cultural and historical richness of the desert as well as learn the basics of how to write haiku and other short forms of poetry.
