Dennis Miller and his wry wit return to Las Vegas in August

Reporting from Las Vegas — Stand-up comedian, talk show host and political commentator Dennis Miller brings his pointed observations to The Orleans Showroom on Aug. 8 and 9.
The five-time Emmy Award winner emerged on the national scene during the 1980s when he was the “Weekend Update” correspondent on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.” Miller moved to HBO in 1991 to host his talk show “Dennis Miller Live” for nine seasons.
Miller is a regular on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” and “The O’Reilly Factor.” He was also host and executive producer of CNBC’s “Dennis Miller,” which featured conversation, opinion and humor.
Miller also found time during his career for film, appearing in “Disclosure,” “The Net” and “Murder at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.”
His series of “rant” books include “I Rant Therefore I Am,” “Ranting Again” and “The Rants.”
Miller garnered three Writers Guild of America Awards, as well as an additional WGA Award for his 1997 HBO special, “Dennis Miller: Citizen Arcane.” He also wrote and starred in the Emmy-nominated cable comedy special “Raw Feed.”
For nearly a decade, Miller hosted the conservative American comedy talk show, “The Dennis Miller Show.”
