Drawing Shows Strides Being Made by Women

Share

The courtroom drawing on the front of the Jan. 28 Business section (“Broadsides Open Trial of Stewart”) was emblematic of the progress women have made since the mid-20th century.

Three women -- a U.S. District Court judge, an assistant U.S. attorney prosecuting a high-profile case and a self-made millionaire charged with white-collar crimes (a mixed blessing, perhaps) -- all in positions they could not have had 60 years ago.
