“South Pacific” star Mitzi Gaynor parted with this Beverly Hills house two years ago after more than five decades of ownership.

Since then, the 1929 Spanish Colonial villa, which she sold for close to $5 million, has undergone a major renovation. The expanded compound is for sale at $11.495 million.

The 6,173 square feet of light and bright living space features beamed ceilings, graceful arches, wood flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors.

Updates and additions include a new detached guesthouse with a kitchen and laundry room and a new pool house. There are five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and a powder room.

A deck with an outdoor kitchen steps down to the swimming pool with tanning ledges and a spa.

The one-third-acre lot features drought-tolerant landscaping.

A singer and a dancer, Gaynor was a leading lady in numerous Broadway musicals and such films as “The Joker Is Wild” (1957) and “There’s No Business Like Show Business” (1954). She hosted numerous TV specials in the ’60s and ’70s.

Lauri Lappin of Lappin Realty Group is the listing agent.
