Patrick Dempsey lists Bel-Air home at $3,595,000
Dr. McDreamy has listed his Bel-Air home at $3,595,000.
Actor Patrick Dempsey, who plays heartthrob Dr. Derek Shepherd on the popular medical drama “ Grey’s Anatomy,” hopes to sell a New England traditional with four bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms on 3,841 square feet.
The house, gated and hedged for privacy, has a fireplace in the living room and a formal dining room. There is a pool, brick patio and a large, flat lawn. There is also a matching treehouse with a porch that sits high up on the slope of the property.
Dempsey, 43, has donned his surgeon’s scrubs for 93 episodes (thus far) of the ABC show. He’s been nominated for two Golden Globes for the role, which also earned him the moniker Dr. McDreamy because of his good looks and sex appeal. He also starred in the movies “Made of Honor” (2008) and “Enchanted” (2007). His acting credits date back to the mid-1980s. Dempsey is also an avid skier and car racer; he will be driving a Ferrari at this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours.
Brett Lawyer of Sotheby’s International Realty, Sunset Boulevard office, is the listing agent, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
