David Litt’s Hollywood Hills home for sale for $2,025,000
What was it that made America fall in love with a package delivery guy and his family, crazy father-in-law and dopey friends? Perhaps it was David Litt, from whose mind and typewriter came the sitcom “The King of Queens.”
Litt has listed his Hollywood Hills house for $2,025,000.
He took the 1963 home down to the studs and the architectural results are pretty smashing. Los Angeles-based architect Robert Kerr created a home of wood, stone and glass. There is a formal courtyard with a fountain that leads to the house. A two-story wall of glass looks out on a forest and stream. The three-bedroom, 3 1/2 -bathroom house has 2,440 square feet.
Litt was the creator of “The King of Queens” and wrote 86 episodes of the comedy that aired from 1998 to 2007. He also wrote for “The Big Bang Theory” in 2007 and “Out of Practice” in 2005-06.
