Comic actor Rob Schneider has listed his French Normandy-style manor home in San Marino for $3.6 million.

Built in 1926 by architect Everett P. Babcock as his personal residence, the two-story house retains much of its original character. The entry opens to a foyer and a tower staircase with Batchelder tile risers. Features include arched doorways, a formal dining room, a butler’s pantry, dormer windows and fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom. There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms in about 4,690 square feet of living space.

Mature landscaping surrounds an oval-shaped saltwater swimming pool on the nearly half-acre site. Across the lawn off the back veranda is a koi pond.

Schneider, 46, will be in Adam Sandler’s “Grown Ups” (2010), with Chris Rock and Kevin James. He also starred with Sandler in “50 First Dates” (2004) and directed and starred in “Big Stan” (2007). A regular on “Saturday Night Live” in the early ‘90s, Schneider went on to star in and co-write “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo” (1999) and “The Hot Chick” (2002).
