Facebook is taking its friendship with Frank Gehry across the Atlantic, reportedly signing the Los Angeles architect to work on new office space in Dublin, Ireland, where the company already has a major presence. He will also design new office space for Facebook in London.

The news was reported Thursday by media outlets in Britain and Ireland. A spokesperson for Facebook hasn’t immediately responded to requests for confirmation. [Updated: Facebook confirmed the reports on Thursday.]

Gehry, who is already working on Facebook’s new campus in Menlo Park, Calif., is expected to work on the Dublin headquarters to be located in Grand Canal Square, with 120,000 square feet of space and room for more than 1,000 employees.

The social media company already has offices in Dublin’s Hanover Quay area.

Gehry will also work on Facebook’s new office space in London, according to the reports. The company will move its London staff from its current offices in Covent Garden to Regent’s Place. The architect is expected to design the interior of the new office, which is expected to be 88,000 square feet in size, with space for 500 employees.
