Kanye West and the terrible, horrible, no-good burglary day

Kanye West wasn’t having the best day.

As the rapper and Kim Kardashian boyfriend toured overseas with “Watch the Throne” partner Jay-Z, more than one incident threatened him on domestic shores. Starting with a burglary.

Police responded Wednesday to a report that the rapper’s Hollywood Hills home had been broken into, L.A. Now reported. The home had been forcibly entered late Tuesday or early Wednesday, said police, who were uncertain whether anything had been taken from the property (we’d guess art and fashion might’ve been up for grabs).

If that weren’t enough to put a cloud over Kanye’s stop in Birmingham, England, add to it a Twitter scandal that was sparked overnight about a photo allegedly showing a nude Kardashian from behind, snacking on room service.

West’s team quickly debunked the tweet, saying Kanye hadn’t been near his account in 24 hours.

“This phantom tweet never occurred on his account,” a rep for West told several outlets.

“This is obviously the desperate, sad act of someone seeking to gain media exposure by exploiting Kanye’s notoriety. Kanye doesn’t even know this person,” the rep added.

A small silver lining? It wasn’t Kardashian in the picture circulating in reference to the “phantom tweet.” Adult film actress Amia Miley came forward and identified herself as the person in the snap, which no one can be sure West tweeted in the first place.

More good news: Kanye probably has no love lost for possessions that might’ve been taken from his L.A. pad, as he’s trying to offload it. It’s been listed just under $4 million.
