Rosie O’Donnell’s heart attrack draws a Donald Trump get-well

Share

Rosie O’Donnell got something more unexpected than the heart attack she suffered last week — a get-well wish from nemesis Donald Trump.

On Monday the daytime host told fans via her blog that she’d discovered a 99% blocked artery in her heart, had a procedure to install a stent and was recovering at home with fiancee Michelle Rounds. And then Donald tweeted.

“@Rosie, get better fast. I’m starting to miss you!” he wrote on Tuesday, prompting an instant “huh?” from the Twitterverse.

O’Donnell and the Donald have had countless sparring matches on daytime television and in social media, topics ranging from the controversial Miss USA contestant Tara Connor to the canceling of Rosie’s OWN talk show.

Which more than explains Rosie’s perplexed response to Donald’s note.

“Well thank u donald - i must admit ur post was a bit of a shock ... r u trying to kill me ? xx,” she sent.

Some outlets interpret her reply as being wary of his intentions, but we just think O’Donnell is exercising her sense of humor. After suffering an attack doctors call the “widow maker,” you might need a laugh.
