After 11 years and five films, "Final Destination" fans have learned one very important rule: You can't cheat death.
Whether by plane, train, bus, tanning bed or fire escape ladder, the "Final Destination" series has always been known for outrageous and nightmare-inducing death scenes. With the release of "Final Destination 5," there's no better time to look back at some of the most cruel, unusual and just plain gory ways the series' characters have met their demise. We've tried to find suitable photos for each death, but in some cases they were just too grisly for a family website. Rest assured that our photographic substitute would have been your reaction too.
