Listen: Britney Spears, Iggy Azalea join forces for ‘Pretty Girls’

Too bad Iggy Azalea’s pizza guy couldn’t have played it cool. He might have gotten an early tip about Azalea’s conversation-starter of a new single.

“Pretty Girls” is a collaboration between the Australian rapper and the currently Vegas-residing pop titan Britney Spears. It’s about what you’d expect from the duo with a single of this title -- bubbly electro-trap beats, a lot of teen-sassy rapping and the two sharing lead singing vocals on the chorus.

The song leaked on Saturday, but the artists did their best to keep word mum until Monday morning. “We would really appreciate everyone holding out until Monday to share links etc if possible (i know its hard, I’m excited too!),” Azalea wrote.

She also clarified that yes, she is actually singing on that hook: “Also for the record Brit and i are both singing the chorus’s together… i guess you guys aren’t used to hearing my singing voice :-)”

Hopefully the tune will give new healing energy to Spears’ foot and get her back onstage in time for the rest of her Vegas residency. In the meantime, though, your summer song sweepstakes bracket just got an early contender.
