The Day fire
The Day fire off Day Road has consumed 12,850 acres and is 45% contained. So far, more than 1,700 personnel and over 130 fire engines have been dispatched. Evacuations have been ordered from Schneider Ranch Road to the north end of Day Road and an evacuation center has been set up at Fall River High School in Fall River Mills. County routes 93 and 94 are closed west of where they intersect.
