Meet the first Shake Shack in Las Vegas

Share

The first Shake Shack in Las Vegas opened last month at New York New York Hotel & Casino. It’s located at the gateway to The Park, a new entertainment and dining district with an arena that’s schedule dto open next year.

Danny Meyer and his Union Square Hospitality Group bring on the burger stand that serves Angus beef burgers, griddled-crisp flat-top dogs, frozen custard, crinkle cut fries, craft beer and wine, and more.

Outside, guests can sit on the patio overlooking the Strip or order a beverage at the walk-up window. Inside, they’ll find the largest Shake Shack in the chain.

Vegas exclusives include two custard Concretes:

--All Shook Up, with vanilla frozen custard and chocolate toffee bits blended with a slice of banana peanut butter cheesecake from local bakery Gimme Some Sugar, and

--the Jackpot, with vanilla frozen custard, Belgian waffles, strawberry purée, marshmallow sauce and rainbow sprinkles.

Diners can also order the Shackapalooza, a colossal, everything-but-the-kitchen-sink-style frozen custard dessert with premium mix-ins — meant for sharing.

This eatery also offers an expanded beer and wine selection — both on tap.

ShackMeister Ale is brewed just for Shake Shack by Brooklyn Brewery. Beers from local breweries will include Bad Beat and Tenaya Creek. All beers can be purchased as a pint, pitcher, or custom Shake Shack 32 ounce “Roadie.”

The wine list includes house wines Shack Red and Shack White, made exclusively for Shake Shack by Frog’s Leap in Napa Valley, Calif.

Other beverages on the menu include Shack-made lemonade, bottled Stumptown iced coffee, draft root beer from Abita Brewing Co. in Louisiana, fresh brewed iced tea and more.
