'Perfect Christian family' lived in Mission Viejo home where four dead bodies were discovered today

Homicide investigators in Orange County are probing the discovery Tuesday of four dead bodies inside an upscale hillside home in Mission Viejo.

Authorities were called at 9 a.m. to the two-story brown house in the 25600 block of Pacific Hills Drive, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

A woman who declined to give her name said the house was home to "the perfect Christian family." The woman said her daughter was a close friend with one of the family's children.

The home is near hiking trails and also is close to the southern Orange County community's City Hall.

The names of the dead and their relationships to one another were not immediately released.

Onlookers and representatives of the news media were kept at bay as homicide investigators worked inside.
