After the fire

Share

Last month, a fire ravaged through an apartment development under construction in the 900 block of W. Temple Street in downtown Los Angeles, temporarily shutting down the 110 Freeway.

Escorted by the demolition team, freelance photographer Daniel Sawyer Schafer was able to capture some shots of the street’s cleanup. In this photo, two firefighters pause momentarily at the end of a 12-hour shift.

Schaefer took the image with a Sony A7 and Voightlander 28mm f/3.5 lens.
