A call to end the bullying

Dozens of people attended a Wednesday night vigil in Long Beach calling for an end to the bullying of gay teenagers.

The vigil followed the suicides of several American teen-agers in recent weeks, including 13-year-old Seth Walsh of Tehachapi, Calif.

Hundreds of people, including Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, have recorded videos of support for bullied teens on the YouTube It Gets Better Project.

The Long Beach vigil took place at the Granada launch ramp, where attendees observed a moment of silence for those who have died.
