When: 6:30

Where: Staples Center.

On the air: TV: FS West; Radio 710, 1330.

Records: Lakers 2-0, Warriors 2-0.

Record vs. Warriors (2009-10): 4-0.

Update: Lakers Coach Phil Jackson has dubbed his bench the “Renegades.” The reserves were the only ones to practice Saturday because Jackson gave the starters the day off. The reserves played three on three. It was Shannon Brown, Steve Blake and Matt Barnes versus Luke Walton and rookie forwards Devin Ebanks and Derrick Caracter. After watching Warriors guard Monta Ellis go for 46 points in the first game and 15 points and 11 assists in his second game, Jackson said he hoped Ellis would remain at shooting guard because the 6-6 Kobe Bryant has an advantage over the 6-3 Ellis. But Warriors point guard Stephen Curry won’t play because of a sprained right ankle, meaning that Ellis probably will start at the point. The Warriors are off to a 2-0 start for the first time since the 1994-95 season.
