Watch Dwight Howard show off his acting skills

Share

Dwight Howard has a big decision to make this summer, but suffice it to say that he’s not sitting at home agonizing over his future.

The Lakers center recently appeared in a YouTube video by RelativitySports in which he and other famous athletes tried out their acting skills.

Howard read lines from “Forrest Gump” and “300” which, of course, brought back memories of the “300”-themed speech that he gave at a Laker practice before the team played the Houston Rockets in their final game of the regular season, a game that potentially could have determined whether the Lakers made the playoffs.

Said Howard in April: “Kobe is watching us at home. Dr. Buss is watching us up high! Let’s let it out tonight! Everything we got! Everything! Leave it on the floor! Pau, put your big boy pants on! Dwight, hit your free throws! Jodie, hit those threes, boy! Now let’s get it! Now let’s bring it in! Hoorah!”

Howard then finished his speech by yelling, “This is Sparta!”

Howard, a perpetual entertainer, has said that he’d like to pursue an acting career after his NBA playing days are over.

Judging by the above video, let’s just say that he’d be better at playing a warrior than a Southerner.
