Golden Globes Live Blog: ‘The Hangover’ provides first real surprise

7:26 p.m.: Maybe its awards chances aren’t dead yet. Despite competition from movies that skewed a lot less raunchy and (in the case of ‘It’s Complicated’) a lot less funny, ‘The Hangover’ pulls out the win for best picture - comedy/musical. Producers may not want to get too giddy yet -- the best comedy/musical winner at the Golden Globes hasn’t been nominated for a best picture Oscar since ‘Sideways’ did it five years ago, but with 10 slots, it’s back on the map. Plus seeing Todd Phillips et al up there just spices things up. As one of our editors points out, you gotta love an awards show that features Mike Tyson, Vegas and ‘The White Ribbon.’
