‘The Artist’: Give it a try, you’ll love the movie, cast promises

Perhaps no one is more surprised at the warm reception the black-and-white silent film ‘The Artist’ has received from early audiences than the film’s cast members. Star Berenice Bejo believes that if audiences will continue to just give the film a chance, they will like it. But how to get people in to see such an unusual film?
They’d come ‘if they restore my chainsaw fight,’ jokes John Goodman. ‘It was only five minutes. It’s with Walter Winchell, the guy playing Winchell is great.’
