Capt. Lou Albano and Cyndi Lauper

Pro wrestler extraordinaire Capt. Lou Albano died Oct. 14 at 76, World Wrestling Entertainment and Wrestlers Rescue reported today.

Some will remember him for his exploits in the ring, but he found a whole new audience via MTV in the early 1980s when the music network put into heavy rotation a video pairing Albano with that gal with the multicolored hair, Cyndi Lauper.
