At the office: Men make more money, but women make more germs

When was the last time you disinfected that phone? Or wiped down the exclamation point on your computer? According to a University of Arizona study, women’s phones, computers and mouses had more germs than those of the guy in the next cubicle.

Why do chicks attract more bacteria than dudes in the workplace? Researchers think that it’s because women have makeup at their desks and they snack more than men. Um, I can attest to that.

Plus, women put their purses on their desks and those purses are typically on the floor much of the time. They even coined a disgustingly descriptive term -- ‘bag-teria’ -- for ladies’ purses.

Okay, who thinks twice before she puts her purse down on the floor of the office -- or even sometimes, at a restaurant? I may go and get my Ferragamo suede bag analyzed at a lab and report back. For the record, men’s wallets were four times ‘germier’ than women’s purses.

What the hell does that say about men’s pockets?
