Lucky Friday the 13th: Get your Boy (by Band) at Barneys trunk show

Sure, it’s last minute, but if you’re straggling into the office late today (or cutting out early), and you’re a fan of Scott Sternberg’s Boy by Band of Outsiders women’s collection, you should know that Barneys New York in Beverly Hills is hosting a trunk show for the prep-inspired label from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today (Sternberg will be there noon to 3 p.m.).

Customers will be able to preorder from the Malibu-inspired Spring/Summer 2010 collection as well as special order customized ‘design your own’ schoolboy blazers choosing from a wide variety of the fabric swatches, grosgrain trims and buttons on hand.

If you head over, I’m told the event is taking place on the second floor.

And who says Friday the 13th is unlucky?
