Helmut Lang store finds new home on Melrose Avenue

The move of the Helmut Lang store from Croft Avenue around the corner to Melrose Avenue may not be huge geographically, but it’s certainly significant now that the shop can actually be seen from the busy street.

The place had hid quietly behind the Theory store in West Hollywood, where most people would never find it and foot traffic was nonexistent. This week the merchandise has moved locations to a 1,125-square-foot space adjacent to the Theory women’s store with an entrance at 8428 Melrose Ave.

Thankfully, the store (one of two free-standing Helmut Lang boutiques in America -- the other is in New York) has not lost its convenient parking.The lot between the Theory and Helmut stores is still available.
