Solange Knowles -- singer, DJ and unassuming stylesetter -- may be Beyoncé’s younger sister but she’s certainly carved out her own place in the spotlight as an in-demand musician and muse to many in the fashion community. It’s her ability to meld traditional basics in highlighter colors with sporty knits and tribal prints, and her refreshingly understated appeal that have drawn attention from the fashion set. Knowles pairs bold prints from Marni and Opening Ceremony with sharply tailored solid items from Alexander Wang and J. Crew for a bold but balanced look that’s inspired designers like Erin Beatty and Max Osterweis from Suno, for whom she served as muse during a Vogue/CFDA event last year.
