Air attacks on Witch fire suspended

North San Diego County:

U.S. Forest Service Fire Chief Deborah M. Lutz said she has suspended air attacks on the Witch fire after two hours of efforts were thwarted by high winds.

“They weren’t doing any good and it got too dangerous,” she said.

Air assaults on the Harris and La Jolla reservation fires continue.
