‘Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark’ star Reeve Carney was already a film actor and singer-songwriter when he took on the stage role of Peter Parker in the Broadway musical. Now add to the resume video star, with the just-released ‘Rise Above 1,’ which also features Bono and the Edge.

In the video, Carney and ‘Spider-Man’ songwriter Bono share vocals (no, Bono hasn’t joined the actual musical), with the Edge on guitar (on Broadway, Reeve’s brother and Carney band mate, Zane, plays guitar). Carney also is seen rehearsing with cast members and flying from the rafters (nope, no falling) of the Foxwoods Theatre.

The $75-million musical, which holds the record as the most expensive Broadway production and the show with the most previews, is still hanging in there, with box office grosses from last week totaling about $1.8 million.
