After a six-month hiatus and a tedious search for an appropriate venue, pub quiz Booze Clues will make its triumphant return on Tuesday, Dec. 2. The new location is preppy, Latin-themed Cuba de Oro (1745 N. Vermont Ave.), perfect for a night of drunken intellectual sparring.

If all goes well, quizmasters Dave Jargowsky and Pauline O’Connor hope to make Booze Clues a monthly affair. They also want quizzees to bring their A-game, especially when it comes to team names. ‘I feel like team names are an area where the comedic potential hasn’t been fully mined,’ O’Connor says.
