Windows Lounge opens its … Windows: Redesigned and reopened just in time for the Hollywood awards season, Windows Lounge at the Four Seasons Hotel features a cozier vibe and a new menu of classically inspired cocktails including this year’s Oscar-themed libation Glampagne, which sounds like the new J. Lo perfume/energy drink but is actually a heady mix of champagne, hibiscus-flower syrup and sugar cubes coated with bitters. Other changes include a foliage-themed decorating scheme that juxtaposes cushy brown leather lounge chairs with a green onyx fireplace and wood-encased wine cabinets; an expanded patio with two additional cabanas and a slew of sofas and chairs; and an underlit, leaf-themed, glass-topped bar. BOA breaks ground: We can rebuild it -- we have the technology. Bigger, posher, shinier. That’s what you can expect from BOA v3.0, which just broke ground one mile west of the steakhouse’s current digs in the Grafton Hotel on Sunset Blvd. At 13,000 square feet, the new BOA in West Hollywood’s Luckman Plaza will be more than four times as large as the current restaurant and lounge. Scheduled to open in the spring, the new BOA will retain the restaurant’s signature steaks and probably the mini-Kobe beef corn dogs while adding more seasonal fare. No word yet on what will go into the Grafton or whether parent company Innovative Dining Group will retain the space. Current: 8462 W. Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood. (323) 650-8383. Future: 9200 W. Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood. www.boasteak.com
